Color tells stories
Every color in Valencia has a history. From the ochre facades to the vibrant azulejos brought by trade routes, colors reveal where a city came from—and how it shaped the light, vibe, and the rhythm of life.
Color awakens your senses
When you focus on color, you tune in. White feels expansive, yellow quickens your step, ochre grounds you. By noticing color, you become aware of how it shapes your mood, behavior and perception of temperature, dimension, movement, and more. Color becomes a gateway to experiencing a place, not just photographing it.
Color creates memorable photos
Most people shoot the same angles, the same monuments, the same things. When color becomes your theme—not just the subject—you create images that evoke feeling. You're not just documenting; you're translating a sensory experience into a visual story others will remember.
Every walk reveals color stories and details of the city most people walk past.

Slow down, look around, and notice how light and color transform Valencia's streets.
As a color enthusiast, I bring color psychology into every experience — from the stories behind Valencia's hues to how color shapes emotion and creativity.

Colors of Valencia is a personal photography project first born in 2020, discovering the city through its palettes, textures, and changing light.
What started as a color exploration years ago became the inspiration behind the photo walks and creative experiences we do today.
Each walk is part of this larger journey — noticing how color shapes the way we see, feel, and connect with a place.

Not at all! Phone cameras are absolutely welcome. This isn't about gear—it's about seeing differently. Some of our best shots come from phones.
Perfect! These walks are designed for all levels. Whether you've never touched a camera or you've been shooting for years, the focus is on perception and creativity, not technical skills.
Yes! The more, the merrier! Kids and pets are welcome as long as they're ok walking around for a couple of hours in a group. Just make sure they are equipped with proper clothes, comfy shoes–or a leash–, and have enough water.
Life happens! For the photo walks, you're welcome to join late or leave early, but you'll get the most out of the experience by staying for the full walk/workshop. We share the live location in our WhatsApp group, make sure to join it so we can find us.
For the workshops, it's not ideal. You'll miss some prompts and instructions or might not find us if you arrive while we're shooting around.
Yes! I offer customized private sessions for individuals, couples, families, or small groups. Contact me to discuss what you're looking for.
Rain creates incredible photos (wet streets! reflections!), so we'll likely still go unless it's a downpour. Keep an eye on the Meetup app to check if we reschedule or not, or join the WhatsApp group for the updates.
Absolutely! I love seeing what you capture. Tag us on Instagram so I can see your work and share it with the community. Or share your photos in the WhatsApp group!
Usually in English, as it's the most common language among international people. We adapt to the participants as well. I speak fluent Spanish, French and Italian, and the people who join come from all over the world. So you'll always find someone who speaks your language!
The color walks are perfect for visitors! You'll see the city differently and discover neighborhoods you might have missed. Workshops are great too if you want a more focused creative challenge. Check the calendar for dates during your trip.

Together, we explore Valencia through storytelling and color.
Alexey uncovers the hidden stories behind streets, buildings, and neighborhoods. I add the color perspective — where those colors came from, what they meant, and how they shape the way we experience the city today.
A walk as you've never experienced before!

Less scrolling, more color.
The Offline Club is a movement that encourages you to step away from screens and reconnect with creativity, presence, and real-life interaction.
Our sessions focus on observation, imagination, and doing something with your mind and your attention — instead of your thumbs.

Experience local life, not just the language.
These collaborations bring international residents and locals together through shared activities and exploration.
It’s all about connection — discovering places, people, colors, and everyday life in Valencia from a different perspective.
